Hi all, I have been going through several posts here....this is really a treasure box for Aramco job seekers or even new joiners!
So may be a naïve query ,but wanted to confirm from the experts on this exciting forum...
I found a couple of interesting Aramco jobs on an external jobs' website, that really matches my career profile. I applied for them (after being redirected from such external site to Aramco's ) thinking that they are open to any candidate around the globe.
However, I just realized that within Aramco's website these particular openings are coming under UK/EU region ,and do not appear when searching from the Americas (I am from Canada).
Will it be impossible/ much less probable now to consider my application ?(i.e they are grouping the jobs by region due to quotas & availability of work visas for different nationalities)?
Thanks in advance for your support!

Are they AOC? Jobs in the UK/EU, perhaps?

Are they AOC? Jobs in the UK/EU, perhaps? Hi tamsin, I originally found the jobs in a global O&G jobs' site . I tried to apply ,so was directed to Aramco job site.... but without highlighting which "candidates regional bucket" those jobs are in. Hence, I applied normally thinking they are open to candidates from all over the world. After applying I was re-browsing the Aramco website itself to take another look on the JD's...this is when I realized these jobs only exists when searching under the UK/EU jobs bucket. I am based in Canada, so does this mean there is no chance they will consider my applications?

Are they AOC? Jobs in the UK/EU, perhaps? So for me I applied based on where the jobs are physically located like the vast majority of posted jobs for any organization ...but apparently they are grouping these jobs based on "nationality/region of candidates" on their website, so is that based on available work visas for certain nationalities in each hiring dept. for example ? Hence, any candidate from outside the region/ assigned nationalities of the associated bucket is not supposed to apply for such jobs ,even if all jobs are still based in Saudi Arabia ?

Check some of the advert via LinkedIn. If you are in Canada, most time when you apply for any specific job, you will be re-routed to Aramco site.
Good luck.

Check some of the advert via LinkedIn. If you are in Canada, most time when you apply for any specific job, you will be re-routed to Aramco site. Good luck. Thanks for your comment go... Yes this is what I already did.... but from another external global O&G jobs ' site not LinkedIn, and this did direct me to the Job itself on Aramco Site and hence applied accordingly. But when I re-tried to find such JD/Job directly from Aramco site just to check them again ...I found them only under UK/EU jobs section...when you try to search from Aramco website under "Americas" for example they will not appear although all of them are located in Saudi Arabia eventaually. My Application status went already through these: "Applied", then "Congrats your application have been forward ",then "Under Review"....However if as a" Canadian" I applied to a job in Saudi Arabia but open only for" UK/EU" canadiates..my question would be: Can it still pass through but with lower probability to do so , or there is "no way" this will be still in process after completing the "Under review" process?
