Hi all,
This is a great forum, I thank everyone who has shared insights on the process and on what to expect.
I had a successful interview for an instrumentation engineer role with PMT. I am still waiting for the offer, however I was told I will be working on Berri Increment Onshore project. I would like to ask the following:
1) how far is Berri oil field from the nearest Aramco family compound? 2) Would it be possible to commute daily ? 3) Will the role be construction focused, although it is not a project engineer role ?
Thanks all for your support.

To respond:
1. Berri field is around the Jubail area, combination of onshore / offshore. The gas plant is 80km North of Ras Tanura. 2. Easily commutable - If they have accomodation available the Ras Tanura would be your base. 3. No idea.

Need some guidance and process times. Process time could be anything from 1 month to 6 months it more before you get your visa. Lots of factors are involved, some from Aramco getting approvals and sign offs, some from the government visa issuance but there is nothing you can do to speed it up. It happens when it happens.
