Hi All, Was wondering how easy/difficult it would be for a Single Female Traveller to go out and about in Saudi Arabia. I definitely want to make the most of my experience when I get there (not sure if I am going to get a car or not, but thinking that might be the smart thing to do?). Does anyone have any experience or suggestions as to how best explore KSA? Thank you in advance for your help. 😊

Would suggest always get comprehensive insurance for any vehicle with GCC covee. Travel insurance is very affordable from Tawuniya: my wife and I have a worldwide travel insurance policy including Canada/USA for only 900 riyal/year, with underwriting from USA.

Hi @starboyx, thanks so much. Good call about the travel insurance, I hadn't even considered that. Defo worth looking into 😊

Having a car would definitely make exploring easier, especially outside major cities like Riyadh or Jeddah. Be sure to dress modestly, respect local customs, and consider getting a local SIM for navigation. Enjoy your trip!
