If Aramco is interesting in advancing your application, you will be contacted.

If Aramco is interesting in advancing your application, you will be contacted. Sure and a well known fact of course....I am not worried or asking about the specific future of these particular applications though... I am asking about two generic facts about the associated hiring process and "later on" process for change of citizenship...regardless on my current application status or the future of these specific applications.

I believe there was recent system update that change everyone’s “Congrats your app..” to “Under Review”, which I think is an auto response now as soon as you apply for any job at Aramco. It’s anyone’s guess, if anyone has actually looked at your application /resume yet with the status “under review”? The only statuses that have any importance or meaning are “you have been selected for an interview”, “you will be receiving an offer or something to that effect” or “not selected”. All the other statuses are meaningless, IMO.

No may be you misunderstood the Qs
In my previous GCC based O&G company...if (after being hired) you aquired for example another Citizenship...there is an internal process/option to change "Country of Citizenship"...again inside the same company some benefits (like schooling limits, offered accommodation capabilities, Air tickets ,etc.) do depend 100% on passport /citizenship...so my Q was: "Is there similar process in Aramco and can that really affect your benefits eligibility/limits after being already hired"?
While 1st Q is regarding the initial pre-screening ...if the status changed "congrats your application is forwarded..." then "Under review"...does this mean the application is scanned by the source region's recruiter and forwarded to the KSA recruiter...or it is now already sitting with the hiring manager? Can the source recruiter directly send your application to the hiring manager..or these recruiter are just doing very basic verifications then send the application to a KSA based recruiter who is the one providing the "under Review" status appearing on my applications as we speak?

I don’t think anyone on this board can answer the impact of change in citizenship to the Aramco recruiting/hiring process.

Again I have 2 Q's ,citizenship thing is one of them...and I am not asking about the end result or impact details...I am asking if this process does exist in the first place and if benefits do depend on Citizenship and if citizenship did change can you change the Citizenship and hence benefits' limits after being hired originally on another citizenship...
How this process works exactly, how it gets executed and details of" citizenship Vs associated benefits' limits" ..are not my concern in the time being and of course no one will answer that even if she/he do know some details...
In general ,I think only members who joined Aramco then acquired another new citizenship after being hired may be aware that such process even exists (for example she/he was hired as a resident of country X but passport of country Y ,yet after being hired acquired the passport of the country X)

Aramco hire you based on your passport. That also drives the compensation package and which payroll you are on. It’ll be tied to your visa and KSA gov requirements.
To change that will be a monumental ball ache and I suspect you’ll need new visas, iqamas not to mention the internal Aramco paperwork. Why?
If you think that you can move from eastern payroll to global by doing this (and get a payrise) then you are frankly, delusional.

If you think that you can move from eastern payroll to global by doing this (and get a payrise) then you are frankly, delusional. I deleted the original thread post ,so will clarify 2 very important things here: 1)I will not "DO " that ...these are my current circumstances ...if-and only if - my current applications were successful ...it will most probably be just couple of months before getting my citizenship! As simple as that ..... this is not me doing anything ...it is just the flow of events 2)"Delusional "is 100 % wrong and inaccurate (regardless if this does exist in Aramco or not) ...but why? Simply because there was a dedicated internal process for "change of citizenship" in my previous GCC O&G national giant that I was working for .....and I have witnessed the entire process applied to people I know there @least 4 times in 6 years! It is not about a salary raise at all...got nothing to do with direct money actually ...it is all about benefits only ! The scenario is as simple as that in my previous company ....take one benefit like "schooling "for example : The Company policy states that you will take (Educational allowance for up to 4 kids according to the avg. of "COMMUNITY" schools)! For example if you have an Asian/African/Latin passport of a certain country they will take the avg. of the associated community local schools(example :Indian, Filipino , Lebanese ,Pakistani.,etc.) in this associated GCC country...say the avg. will be X or Y....when you change Citizenship to for example UK,US or Canada...automatically this allowance become 3X and 3Y per child ...just because the avg. of such community schools are much higher(but you don't take such allowance directly in your hands though ... you get paid only based on actual fees' invoices, to prevent making use of this outside your actual kids education requirement!) The case was the same for other benefits as well by the way ! -Is it fair ? Subjective may be ...but its a fact ! -Does it exist in Aramco ?I do not know and that is why I am asking if someone went through a Citizenship change -Now...Is it an illusion or a an imagination ? absolutely not !As again I witnessed it in a very similar GCC company few years back and multiple times Infront of my own eyes as it was simply done through a legitimate internal process that take from 1-2 months ! Hope this helps....

Please stop posting the same long question over and over. If someone on this board experienced citizenship change while w/ aramco, they will respond if they so desire. I have not known or heard anyone gone through a citizenship change and subsequently able to switch payrolls. We are not Aramco HR. First, get an interview then an offer. Then you can ask these questions directly to Aramco HR.
