o all I have been asking my recruiter and RA but I am not getting a clear answer so any help here would be greatly appreciated. We would like our child to go to ASD for high school and I looked at the tuition and other fees (application fee, first time non-refundable fee) and it looks really expensive. If I read the EAP guidelines for in Kingdom schooling it looks like I would need to pay a significant amount out of pocket and the company will not pay 100%. For those that have children going to ASD and perhaps BSD as well, what was your experience? Is it correct that you still have out of pocket payments for in kingdom schooling? I was under the impression that the company fully covers it but seems like it is not the case. Thanks

EAP is a multiple of your salary up to a ceiling, so it is possible that you may have to pay towards in Kingdom schooling.

It says in the EAP guidelines that it is the lesser of the base multiple or the company max but looks like the company max is really low. I hope I am wrong but if I am right it means I’ll be having significant out of pocket cost due to the difference between company max and the actual tuition and fees plus 15% VAT.

We are at BSD, it does not cover the full amount of tuition and didn’t cover the application or one time seat fee. Apparently it used to but iSG increased their fees. There is a lot of initial out of pocket when you arrive.

I cannot comment directly, but I hear there was a major over-run in cost of the new facility due to the contractor going bust last year.
End result was a 20% increase in fees
