Is it too late to negotiate for more base while my visa is processing? I know it is late in the game since they expect me to start EOY... I should have negotiated from the beginning but got excited and accepted right away.
Worst they can say is no, right?

Always worth a crack, but I would highly suspect they'll say no, and if on the off chance they do say yes ( which I doubt ) it'll put you back possibly months, as they would need to go through a range of approvals all over again.
