Very recent change but women no longer need to do a test to exchange an eligible foreign licence, flipped mine today and it took half an hour, just a few forms then processed on the spot.

It is! Exactly the same process as the me now. Which it makes it a lot easier to get it in the 3 months home country licence grace because the insurance company would not insure me for even camp only without it. |

Hi Tamsin, do you know which countries’ driving licenses that are able to be converted without driving test? Thank you. I’m sorry, I do not know the full list but i do know that UK/most of the EU (not Germany apparently)/US/Can/Aus/NZ/SG/GCC are okay. Absher will have a drop down list, or the people at midra that organise this for the employees should know. |

could u pls show me in detail how to make an appointment thru Absher? which location should I select for appointment?
can I visit the Khobar morden driving shool to change a foreign license for my wife?

If you contact Midra, they have step by step details printed out. I think it’s only the Sharq one, or it was when I did mine. Men and women are separate. |
