Is there a bus that runs between Najmah and the new American School of Dhahran site? Is this an Aramco bus or is this private party that we need to pay? I would appreciate if anyone here could share the bus schedules and fares if any. Also curious if there is an after school bus schedule if a child needs to leave school a bit later to participate in after school activities. TIA

We are BSD/Dhahran but I met someone today that could answer this. There is an Aramco bus between RT and the ISG site, both ASD and BSD share the buses (same as other camps). It is free. The journey takes around 90 minutes. There is an after school activity bus.

Thanks Tamsin this is what I’ve been looking for. Per ASD admin, RT to ASD is about 55 minutes. I’m wondering if the 90 minutes that you said includes a lot of stops? It’s going to be a long day for the kids.

It’s going to be a long day for the kids. Could very well be that the person I spoke to is first on the bus, there will be stops. But it can take an hour plus from Dhahran camp, traffic can be heavy and there is a lot of construction out there. It is a long day.
