Can anyone share experience or knowledge of what happens to candidates in the following situation - here is my timeline for reference:
Mid-May 2022 - Contacted by consultant who wanted to submit me as a candidate to an Aramco role
June 1 2022 - Contacted by Aramco to select an in-person interview date in Houston
June 20 2022 - Interviewed in person
June 21 2022 - Was told by recruiter there was favorable feedback and a photo of my passport was requested
June 27 2022 - Recruiter requested 3 pay slips as well as my compensation range I'd be willing to accept if given an offer
July 25 2022 - Invited to the Onboarding portal
August 10 2022 - Notified that Aramco plans to provide an offer
August 11 2022 - Offer received
August 17 2022 - Revised offer received
August 18 2022 - Accepted offer
August 21 2022 - Relocation advisor made first contact
August 24 2022 - Aramco Expat Schools accepted son for placement
August 24 2022 - Request to complete medicals received
August 31 2022 - Background investigation confirmed complete
September 19 2022 - Attested medical reports, and passport received at Houston office
October 26 2022 - Confirmation that degree has been attested
November 15 2022 - E-mail from relocation received stating "the department’s expectation is for you to arrive by the end of the year in order to close out the hiring requisition"; however, Aramco still hasn't received a Visa T.itle to send off my passport yet.
Has anyone heard/seen a timeline like this before? Do you know what happens at year end? Would my offer be pulled? Relocation advisor said it's not me who is holding up the process which is favorable - but it all seems so ominous and uncertain - I'm curious to hear other's input and experience please!!
