I learnt that there will be physical exam including more blood and urine test at KSA for iqama. Can those who have passed through this stage give us the details of the physical exam so that we can get our mind prepared for it. Does it include lifting weights; how many pounds or running on treadmills for how long, how fast, inclination level, etc.Your response will be of help

Height, weight, eye test, bp and screening for infectious, blood, urine, stool, and X-ray. It’s really quite perfunctory.

The medical in home country is for your initial visa, medical in Kingdom is for iqama

I’m guessing to avoid fraud, developing disease in interim period. Thank you!! You are very welcome. It’s occurred to me today that i didn’t say that these are government policies, not company ones. I’m sure there are many instances where there are many months in between the initial visas and then the iqama. It might not seem like it but aramco are actually quite fast, comparatively.

HBsAg negative anti-HBc positive anti-HBs positive (Immune due to natural infection) I believe you will be fine. You are not infectious, which is what they basically look out for. www.hepb.org/prevention-and-diagnosis/diagnosis/understanding-your-test-results/

I have another question regarding the Iqama medical tests requirements. We are currently going through the medical here in US for the VISA and one of the health pre-placement questions asks if you are COVID-19 vaccinated. We are not vaccinated and there is a question if you are willing to be vaccinated if required and I said 'yes'. I don't see a problem for me to get vaccinated really, but my wife is currently pregnant and we would not really want to be vaccinated (against anything) during the pregnancy period. I would also not want to have my little kids vaccinated. I heard that vaccination requirements are changing and fluid and want to hear from, probably, recent joiners, if as part of getting Iqama, you and your family members had to be vaccinated?
Also, chest X-Rays are not recommended during pregnancy if it is not for diagnostic purposes, due to potential harm effect on unborn child. Is there a way to avoid chest x-ray for my wife (and do kids also get it?)
Thanks

Sajam, I believe it is best for the ASC health info gathering and your relo advisor to answer these questions. No on on this board could give you any definite answers for any of these questions but aramco should be able. All I can say is I believe the Covid vaccine requirements is relaxed for dependents, specially young ones but believe is required for employee but not 100% for sure. Have no idea about chest X-ray for pregnant wife?

I asked my relocation adviser and the health, but they could not give the definite answer.
I believe people who went through this recently have better understanding if they were required to be covid vaccinated as part of getting Iqama.
