Hi All,
What would the best option for children schools in Dhahran/Khobar region for 16 (A Levels), 13 (Grade 9) and 11 year old (Grade 6). While BISAK and BSD are expensive, are there other options that may be cheaper yet classed as good schools with good GCSE and A Level results?
Also any guidance on admission process and experience would help.
Thanks

For GCSE and Alevels, you've probably picked the only 2 viable options.
Your use of grades suggests you aren't in an English system currently. The youngest would get Aramco US schooling. Not sure about the middle one.
Using Educational Allowace and boarding is the other possibility

I am trying to understand the difference between BISAK, BSD and other schools (with cambridge curriculum). Is the difference only with the fees or results, facilities are also better in BISAK and BSD. We are coming over from the UK, so children have been studying in schools in the UK. Would be good to get some advice on education from others who may have been in similar situation in the past or have children studying in KSA at these levels. Also when you say 'viable', can you please elaborate more on that. Thanks

I’m assuming you mean to start a levels next year? I will double check but I think BSD website says no partway through the year starts in exam years. It’s why we were so time constrained, our son was going into gcse.

BISAK and BSD both feel like an English school. I can't comment on secondary Cambridge curriculum, but the primary is years behind English National curriculum (we were in one for 6 weeks before getting spaces at one of the 2 in your first post). I would have returned to the UK with the kids if we hadn't got an BISAK/BSD offer.

Dear All, Please let me know who to contact regarding the bus from Saudi Aramco camp in Dhahran to any of the British schools (BSD or BISAK). This is for our daughter, we hope we could enroll her to year 4 (she is 8 now). Thank you in advance

You will be provided with it, but they will not add to the list or provide routes until your child is enrolled and starting.
BSD buses leave at around 6.45am, Bisak leave around 6am. If that helps.
