Hi All!
Have been reading through all the threads and have gained a lot of useful information.
I have recently accepted a conditional offer for PA position based in Dhahran and believe I’m almost at the end of a long process! I am still awaiting police report, however they have already conducted medical and requested passport submission so as to have no delays. Can anyone estimate how long before visa approval may be granted?
My other query is on accommodation. From reading other threads I gather there have been accommodation shortages in previous years, but not currently? What are the single accommodations really like in dhahran?

Visa approval can be anywhere from a few weeks to a few months - just your luck when the next visa block is issued by the Saudi government.
As to accommodation - no issues at all so far as I know. 2014-2015 was tight but now no issue. There are a couple of secretary / PA's active recently, maybe one of them can give more advice on accomodation.

Hi, can one of the new PA's who started in Dhahran share their experience on housing and the job itself? On this forum I see a lot of questions from newbies but not so many answers from the people who are actually there, it would be great to hear a personal pov of the new starters

I got my visa about 4 weeks ago, scheduled to fly out end of April.
