I will join Aramco probably in 2 month’s time, My kids finished yr.7 & yr.4 in British School and they will start yr.8 & yr.5 from September 2022, however Aramco School assign them Gr.7 & Gr.4 On the other hand, When I see the age table of Canadian School System then they should be in Gr.8 & Gr.5 , I am thinking to send them to Canada for few months until their family visa ready and then moved back to Aramco so in this case Aramco will consider them as per their current grades i.e. gr.8 & gr.5
Please suggest if this will work to put them in their right grades according to their age.
Thanks

Every school system has different grading, yr 7 and 4 in England would be S1/2 and P4/5 in Scotland.
If their age cut off says it’s a particular grade, then it will be that and I can’t see why you’d add an extra school into the mix. My kids have had all different systems, different grade names and it makes no difference what it’s called, but I imagine moving school twice in a year or so, would.
I’d also happily take a repeated year, if that is the case. It really can help a lot of kids through the transition, particularly after the lockdowns etc. but I can’t see it being a repeated year because I’m also positive KSA rules state that you have to be in the grade your age dictates.

Year 8 England is Grade 7 US/Aramco Year 5 England us Grade 4 US/Aramco. So the placing appears to be correct?
