very helpful question! thank you for asking as was wondering the same. how long is the process for family application of family visa? Everyone seems to have varying experiences in regards to family visa. Make sure before you leave your home country, arrange with your RA to have your marraige and dependents birth certificates attested and bring them with you, it will be a huge benefit in having everything ready. From arrival to having my family visas stamped in their passports was 6 weeks, and I travelled to the UK two weeks later to travel back to Saudi with them. Others I have heard 3-4 months, but again I was fortunate to have everything ready and the timings for all my appointments worked out perfectly.

Is it required to attest children birth certificates from the Saudi Embassy of that related country?
I asked the same question to recruiter, they said no need.......what is your experience?

Hi,
No it is needed to be attested.
Challenge the RA, as some RA does not know the process.

Hi, No it is needed to be attested. Challenge the RA, as some RA does not know the process. Hi, did you mean that child's birth certificate should also be attested in the in Saudi embassy/consulate where the birth certificate was issued? Is this still requirement for a residency visa approval? Our RA said that in our case it's not needed to be attested. We are coming from Canada, but one child was born in a different country and the birth certificate is not in English. Our RA said that in our case we don't need to attest the birth certificate of the child. It's required for some other countries, but didn't provide details for which countries. The RA also advised that we still can attest the child's birth certificate, but Aramco won't reimburse the expense.

Has anyone applied for their family visa from India? I would like to know their experience dealing with visa agent in India.
