I've read that we can apply for a different location/house after 2 years. We have a toddler and are trying for a second. If we give birth, do we get an upgrade on housing immediately?

Depends on what size your current place is and whether having 2 kids there meets policy. You might be able to move to a larger place but it won’t be immediate, lots of hoops to jump through first.

If you are in Dhahran then you’ll be given a 2 br, from what I can gather most houses have a good sized study, certainly big enough to be a 3rd bedroom. Plus the stoe is extensive, huge, I really don’t think you’d struggle for space.

In my personal experience you will be given a 3 bedroom if you have a second child. It'll take time but you will get this, as its in the employee handbook.
I am in the process of changing from a 2br to 3br

I am in a similar situation. We are expecting to move by July 1st while my wife is expected to give birth to our second kid in first week of August. So basically, 1 month after we arrive. Do you think we can ask for a house based on two kids? Or do we have to wait even though there is just a one month difference?
