o all,
I’m not sure if anyone had or heard about a similar situation. I had my F2F interview in the UK and have been contacted after two weeks by Aramco’s recruiter that the company would like to deliver an offer. I was asked to send some documents (payslips, passport copy, etc) and been told that the offer should be received within it 3-6 weeks. I didn’t receive any acknowledgment that the documents were received and followed up after 4 weeks asking the recruiter if he needs further documents from me, but no response.
I heard a lot about companies ghosting candidates, but wouldn’t really expect such a thing from a big name like Aramco. So, I’m really wondering if anyone had a similar situation or heard about something similar from Aramco. I truly appreciate your help.

There are many cases where the offer is received after 2-3 months from the point documents are sent in. So this part… just be patient.
In terms of response from recruiters… not sure. For me, the person handling my case changed and the response time significantly dropped off but i did get a hear back with a short response few days after. There was a major holiday in Saudi Arabia last week so that could have impacted their response time as well.

I’m hoping it’s just the holidays (even though the recruiter is based in the UK) and to hear back from them at some point.

In some sense, take this experience as part of the interview or at least something for you consideration prior to taking the job. Undoubtedly, you will face more slower paced processes after you join. So if this is something you would stress out on then you should think again about joining Aramco. Same applies to make other expat jobs such as in West Africa.

In some sense, take this experience as part of the interview or at least something for you consideration prior to taking the job. Undoubtedly, you will face more slower paced processes after you join. So if this is something you would stress out on then you should think again about joining Aramco. There are reasons good or bad on why some processes take longer than what we might experience back home. It is what it is. So i am just saying have some patience and don’t stress over it as there is nothing you can control. Now if you find some of these inefficiencies at work/operations while you are working as expat then you have a great opportunity to make an impact if you are able to influence the organization to make improvements. I had some great successes working in West Africa with this. Make sure you are including the national staff on the success ir even better, allow the national staff to take the lead in the improvement initiative. If the inefficiencies are related to corporate HR or government related activities then like I said just relax and be patient.
