I am on GC12, it is written in the offer I accrue three (3) Regular Vacation Credits (calendar days) per full month of service with COMPANY.
That "Calender day" thing make me confused, how many days of vacations I will have per year (Excluding weekends)? which will be shown in my credit?
i.e. if I want to take 10 days from my credit, that should equal 16 days including weekends.(before-between-end)
Another question about transit days vacation, it says 4 days for far traveling. how this 4 days get into my vacations credit? everytime I apply for vacation does it credit automatically or I have to provide tickets and travel documentations to get them?

You'll need to include weekends in your vacation credit balance. Depending on your work schedule/cycle, if you work your cycle, your days off will be free and the days off that follow will be classed as free (earned days). Any vacation days, including weekends will be deducted from your balance after the earned days off. You should check your offer to confirm your vacation days per yer, but it may be around 38 days, plus 8-11 company/public holidays per year. The 4 travel days can only be used for your annual repatriation holiday, so when you plan it you can inform your timekeeper and this will be done accordingly. Ok i am even more confused.
For a normal Sunday to Thursday office… if i want to take a week off for vacation. Leave Sunday and return Saay. Would it be 7 days vacation day or 5 days since Friday and Saay is your normal days off?
The same case for if i want to take 2 weeks vacation then it is 10 days or 14 days? Since technically you dont work Friday and Saay.

What I understood, you don't add first weekend (2 days) in your vacation allowance. So you are right, it will be 14 days for 16 calendar days holidays.

I think this is way worse than having your vacation into just working days.
30 working days vacation is much better than 38 calender days vacation that include your weekends!

It’s a con truth be told. Realistically it’s similar to having 25 days holiday as you’d get in most UK companies.
You could make it stretch out but that would require taking short breaks and working a day in the week you intended to take off.
