o, What is the overall processing time from offer acceptance till visa issuing? Every timeline us different. I accepted my offer in July and had my visa issued in September which was fairly quick. It all depends on if there is a visa block available, how quickly your background investigation and medical occur. |

From offer acceptance to arriving in Kingdom is generally 3-6 months.

I accepted offer 9th May, recieved visa 14th June

I delayed my start date a few weeks from the earliest date I could arrive in kingdom. In general you should plan to start as soon as possible

Does anyone know if the start date is negotiable? Yes and No. From the decision to hire an ex-pat for a specific role and the actual offer of a position could be many months. So yes you can put things off a little but your department have a vacant position that they want to fill ASAP so expect a lot of pressure for you to start ASAP. |

Does anyone know if the start date is negotiable? After you accept the offer, RA will ask you about the notice period with your current employer. You can use that to play around with your start date. Once you get your visa, there will be pressure to start ASAP. |
