Hi,
Did anyone here on forum attend the virtual recruiting event hosted by ASC in Houston for finance roles on Monday May 16? If so, has anyone heard anything back about making it to the interview rounds next week with the SA hiring managers?
Thanks, JRS

I did and I've been asked to fly into Houston for an interview the week of June 6th.

Congrats! I haven't heard anything back yet other the status of my app states "Congrats! Your app has been fwd to the hiring org". Do you mind me asking what role(s) you applied for? I applied for the tech acctg advisor and Fin Acctg Consol Specialist.

No I don't mind sharing. It's for the Business yst role on the Planning and Performance Mgmt. team. You may still get contacted. From what I understand that whole week will be interviews.

Thanks star5! - I still have hope.
They told you the week of June 6? I thought they were interviewing next week, which had me a little worried. I'm local candidate here in Houston, so may not require as much lead time as having to fly in.

Yes, they told me the week of June 6th. Agreed, since you don't have to travel they will likely give you a less heads up. All the best JRS!

I applied online back in April for a finance role and have been invited for an interview on the 6th of June. I was asked to provide my transcripts and degrees in case they want to make me on offer on the spot (per the email from recruiter). I have not received the ticket or hotel details yet. Any idea how long it takes them to send the travel details? interview is still about 2 weeks away. I checked with the recruiter and he said it is with management for approval.

I wouldn’t worry. I’m sure they’ll get your tickets & itinerary to you soon.

For those of you who were invited to an interview did your application status change? Mine says “Congratulations your application has been forwarded to the hiring organization”

I got the below email after my interview was scheduled, sent it to the recruiter and he said to ignore it just an automated message nothing else.
"Thank you for your application and your interest in Saudi Aramco as an employer.
This job has attracted many candidates and we have received a large number of applications. We kindly ask for your patience as the recruiting team reviews applications.
Should your application be successful we will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
Kind regards, Aramco Talent Acquisition Team"

I believe “Congratulations your application has been forwarded to the hiring organization” is a positive step but prob no interview guarantee yet. I applied for three diff fin roles and received the same above message on one of them but have not been contacted about an interview yet. I think it just means we passed the initial screening and the recruiter fwd to hiring org. The hiring org will ultimately decide who they want to interview.

Ya that makes sense, maybe they are going through all the applications that were sent prior to the event that happened on Monday

Ya, I think so. I spoke w/ one of the recruiters (or a marketing person helping out) during the virtual event. I swear she said they were conducting all the fin & acctg interviews next week (week of may 23) but thinking now it is week of June 6 not May 23. I hoping that’s the case because I we would have been contacted by now if selected for next week interviews. I also think she said they’re trying to fill 40 interview spots.
