Can anyone in the group provides more detail about the bus option to go to office from Aramco main compound?
How frequently buses operate and how many people usually use them.
Is it a convenient option?

Most of the Aramco offices are very close to main compound and it take 10 mins from any part of the compound to main core office area. But few offices are bit further (if you are from IT, most probably you will be working there). Coming to busses, there are buses that take your from home to office and the bus schedule is any where between 6.20 AM to 6.40 Am based on your house location. And will drop you back after work @4.00 pm. It is individual preference and choice. Bus is good if you don’t want to bother about parking and worried about leaving the car out in the sun. Also bus option is good, if you want to leave the car to your spouse at home. But at the same time, bus schedules are fixed and you have to be on time everyday. I’m not sure of the full schedule.

You will not be given the schedule until you arrive in kingdom, its considered a security issue. Dhahran is a big camp with lots of offices, so there are multiple bus lines that run throughout the day.

Bus option is pretty poor, you can get picked up in the morning at 6:20 and it takes 30 mins to get to the office 2.5kms away as it snakes around the community. Leaves at 4:10 sharp.
There are other buses but many were cancelled because of covid and haven’t returned. They cannot be relied upon.
You’re going to need a car. Factor that into your finances before you join.
