Hope you are all doing well, let me start by thanking everyone working behind aramcoexpats.com. This website is a pool of information for everyone related to Aramco.
This thread is intended for brining in all SMP candidates who have finished their interviews or awaiting interviews in 2022 to share their views and experience, timelines. I will start by sharing my experience.
I was contacted by SRACO for an interview in Dubai (8th of February), Interview was on 7th of March. There was a lot of people attending interviews for technical and non technical positions, interviews were going on parallel in 3-4 conference rooms. Me being from technical side, the interview was straight towards my domain which lasted around 40-50 minutes.
I was encoued to ask any questions I might had at the end, and was told to wait outside. There were people waiting from early morning after the interview for their result. Later a requisition request was given to SRACO by Aramco with the offer details, SRACO discussed the same with me and converted it into an offer letter and handed over to me for my acceptance. Following the acceptance, I got a copy of the document and also the representative sent me an email with KYC and all other relevant paper works to be completed as part of the BI.
I had sent them all the information, filled forms and document scans. It's 18 days now with no response from SRACO
. From this forum and talking with someone in SRACO office, I assume that still the workshops are ongoing in the Kingdom and in the UK. So hopefully they will revert back after finishing all the workshops.
I have been assigned to Yanbu Refinery Department (YRD), I would love to hear from Aramcons or SMPs working in Yanbu about the location and experience. Also from existing SRACO employees about the company.
