I heard that it's negotiable as recruiter tend to offer the lower range but ine needs to be very tactful.
How long it took to get ur offer and is the base same as you are currently drawing or what %age higher?

One can always negotiate with genuine reasons for instance if increment or promotion is expected and will be due soon in current employment

I negotiated with SABIC for A YEAR before we settled on compensation level. The Saudis respect people who negotiate respectfully but confidently.
