Coming to Dhahran in May or June.
Wondering if there is any good suggestion of which dealer or place/website to get good used cars with GCC spec. Prefer Lexus or Toyota mid-size SUVs.
Also have been checking Ikea and Homebox websites to see what they offer and prices. Homebox price seems to be about 20-30% lower than Ikea on comparable items. Any thoughts and possibly suggestions on other better options?
Any insight is much appreciated!

Ikea furniture is to the same standard you get globally, durable, well built etc. I used homebox for my sofa, beds and TV. I visited homebox store in Jubail and managed to barter in store. They also delivered and built all the furniture free of charge. I received a 35% discount due to the amount I bought. It was all of good quality. Ikea stuff is better engineered and quality but homebox is just as good for what you pay. The sofa we bought is super comfortable! |

You went to the one in Jubail just because you live there or that one is better than others in terms of selections and easier go get a bargain?
Also, will they give a volume discount on sale items or only on full-priced ones?

I'm in Ras Tanura and was in Jubail anyway for the day, just picked it because it fit in with my plans. So I had a mix of sale and full priced items and once they gave me the final price I was able to discuss a discount, which they were more than willing for. |

I'd have a look at homecentre as well for the furniture.
Cars: probably the selling adverts when you get on camp.
