Yes, you are right...The job posts do not indicate location...During my interview though, I was told that the job position is remote Are you interviewing in April? Just curious if they interview during Ramadan Yes I am interviewing during Ramadan. I wonder what they mean by remote. Does that mean you are site based and go back to the family camp on weekends?

Good to hear...That means those of us who interviewed already have hopes that we may get to hear back even during Ramadan...Good luck with your interview...Yes, it means that you will be on site during the week and come back to the family over the weekend. That's how I understand it works...Haven't heard back after my interview though so hoping it all goes well....

Had my interview. So its a remote work location. I am not too keen on it to be honest. I understand if I was to get an offer the money would be good but its not worth the sacrifice for the family. Will continue to apply for other postings.

eng4life ...Good to hear you had your interview..Do you mind sharing how the experience was for you? How many people were in the panel and how technical was it..It is unfortunate the remote work does not work for you and your family at this time...Nevertheless, will be worth it to see how the interview turns out while you are applying for other positions....Congratulations on your interview and good luck in your subsequent applications

canadianman it was an entirely technical interview. There were 3 people and all were technical. Some of the questions were very specific. I managed to answer them but there is no way you could prepare for it, either you know it or you dont. It was certainly interesting though. It was about an hour long. I havent had an interview for 10+ years so it was good to get my feet wet again.

Hi Moda,
I have an application that has been stuck on 'Congratulations! Your application has been forwarded' for more than 4 months. I never got the update that says 'You have been selected for an interview' for that role. So to answer your question based on my own experience, its a NO. But keep checking to see if it changes within the next couple of weeks. Good luck!

Would you mind sharing if the offer you received is inline with the typical compensation formula.... base pay (equal to your current base pay) + 20-30% overbase + 20% monthly supplement. And secondly are you on global or American payroll?
