Hi All,
I had an interview with Aramco in July and as per my recruiter that I have certainly passed the interview but I haven’t heard anything on the further steps or final decision. It has been 2 months since she told me I have passed my interview. She hasn’t heard anything from Aramco since then. Should I expect that the process might not go ahead anymore or they might have gone with someone else? It has been more than three and half (3.5) months since I had my interview. Expert opinion from members will be appreciated.
Thank you,

I was told same on October 3rd. And I followed up many times and finally I received a conditional offer on November 23rd. Im in Canada and work with Houston HR and applied for finance role. What I understood from my expat friend is all expat roles need to be approved by Joint Share holder committee as well as KSA HR ministry. So it might take time. Keep following up with your recruiter and ask him/her to follow up with Saudi HR if possible instead of waiting to reply. You might have to ask this very politely.

It depends on what role in finance you have applied for.Is it senior position or Junior positions?

I have got my Hirvue online interview in mid of March 2022. After the interview the status on my Aramco profile changed to: Thanks for your efforts so far. A recruiter will connect to you when we can continue the process. Not sure what does it mean. Did you see this message on your profile. I am from Canada too and I have applied for Engineering Role.

I don't think there's a point in cooperating with companies who can't give a candidate any feedback after the interview and prefer to ignore them.

kybuq Well, I get the frustration with not hearing back as quickly as we would like to, but lets not forget that we need to still work for this organization.. It is a known fact that's how Aramco operates so it should be expected that whoever wants to work with Aramco will need to adapt to survive/thrive..But again, I understand your point on getting response from the company.

It it's any consolation, Aramco treats interview candidates much better than BP.
Things move slowly in Aramco and in the kingdom. Learning patience during the hiring process is a foundation for the patience you will need working for Aramco and living in kingdom. If you don't deal well with waiting unknown periods of time, you probably won't be a good fit in kingdom.
