JHAH Basic salary vs other earnings
I have been browsing this forum for a while and it is really helpful and informative.
I have found a lot useful informations for our future move to KSA {Dhahran}
Unfortunately I couldn’t find a related topic to our issue.
I would like to kindly ask for your help/opinions/experiences.
What is more important in salary in JHAH?
Basic salary or other earnings?
My partner received an offer in February 2021 which one he accepted.
Since then background checks {education certificates/previous jobs checks} are in process.
He received different offer now in August 2021, because HR manual and policies changed.
Both offers have a basic salary {number} with benefits in accordance JHAH’s HR Manual and policies
Main differences in these 2 offers
1} Basic salary is significantly higher in 1st. Offer
2} Other earnings are significantly higher in 2nd. Offer
3} EOS {End of service benefits} isn’t in 2nd. Offer but compensated by other rewards/allowances
Final salary in 2nd. offer is better.
Although we are worried as basic salary is lower and other earnings are massive portion of salary if HR manual and policies will change again it will have a huge affect to final salary.
In the same time basic salary is used to calculate a lot of different allowances/benefits/overtime/EOS etc.
Is it something we need to be concerned about?
