o All I have been made an offer and told that i would be provided an accommodation in the DH compound.
A clarification required The offer states:
This is the maximum rental assistance allowance (RAA) for off-camp housing. If company housing is available, employees will be provided with a unit in lieu of RAA and applicable rent will be charged - What is typically the rent that will be charged?

So far as I know there is an adequate supply of housing available all across the company, so it is more than likely you will be housed on camp.
The HR manual was changed a few years ago to only offer RAA in locations where no company housing was available.

Thanks, Bluestaff, I am aware of this, the recruitment advisor did mention it, my question was regarding the quantum of rent that is going to be charged over and above the RAA as mentioned in the contract document

The rental on camp is not excessive - perhaps around $500 monthly for a 2 or 3 bed family home.
Off camp in the past there was no ceiling to how much RAA would pay provided receipts were furnished, which led to some crazy prices for good compound housing.

There was a ceiling on off camp RAA. It depended on your family size, but it was definitely possible to exceed it (and indeed some compounds had an Aramco price list, knowing full well how high they could stretch rents for each family size)
