o, can somebody let me know how long it takes to get Iqama? What are the test required for Iqama medical? Will it be done at JHAH inside Dhahran camp. Once iqama received, how long will it take to get family residence permit yellow slip? Thanks.

Iqama takes 2-3 weeks. Yellow slip takes another 6 weeks or so, provided you had all documents attested from the issuing country.
The process is faster than you think or may have been told. Aramco will help you all the way.

My wife arrived during Ramadan and we had all formalities including jhah medical, iqama, ID and 1st vaccination, before Eid holidays. You simply need to ensure tasks are completed in correct order |

If you are an engineer or your job le is that of an engineer, you will need to become a member of the Saudi Council of Engineers before you can apply for your Iqama. That adds a few weeks to the process.

Is a medical required once you're in Dhahran again even though you need a medical to get there? Is the medical required for employee and family (wife and 11 month old)?

Yes medical is required for everyone as an iqama requirement despite the earlier medical in country of origin for visa

Thank you, Register on the website, provide them with accredited copies of your certificates and qualifications etc, pay the required fee (either in person at the bank using the SADAD reference given or get a colleague to pay online for you). Should take no more than a few days. Once you have Iqama then update your details on SCE. THE issue is that no Iqama, no Bank account. Until that is sorted you can pay salary to your home country and continue to use your home country cards for money and purchases in Kingdom. |
