Hi
I hope to be moving to Dhahran compound with Aramco in a couple of months. We are a family of five. Can anyone please comment on the size of accommodation we will be offered and if we have the option to pay extra and get a four bedroom house if we are offered a 3 bedroom house?

Same, I'd like some insight on this too. I asked my RA this question. She said the she wont be able to give me any housing info until my joining date is confirmed and flight tickets booked.

I don't live in Dhahran so can't comment on accommodations there other than the few residences I've visited there.
Depending on where you are coming from the accommodations may seem large, or they may seem small. If you're in Houston in a 3000+ sq foot home, they will seem small. If you're in an extremely expensive real estate market in an apartment, they will seem spacious.
I don't think you'll have an option to pay more to get a larger house, after you work for the company for a few years you'll accumulate points you can use to bid on an upgraded house. Partly you get what you get based on what is available when you relocate, and how full the camp is.

Hi, can somebody please give some idea of current housing availability at dhahran compund aramco for a family of 4 with GC 14. Will they be assign a 3 bedroom house? Moving from Canada soon. Thanks.

Your relocation advisor will provide you with a floor plan before you leave. I don't recall how many weeks prior to leaving I got my floor plan. Again, housing is dynamic as there are constantly expats retiring and new arrivals so what is available changes constantly. You should call your relocation advisor and talk to them, as they should have a much better idea of the housing issue than expats here.

Hi, now a days, are all the new employees(GC 14) who's job location is Dhahran are provided with dhahran compound housing or there may be a chance for not being available? I know few years back there was a lot of shortage of houses. Any idea please.
