I am planning to move to Saudi Arabia within the next 3 months for a one year temporary work so I decide to not bring my furniture since family will stay in the US however I am looking into the rules and regulation for bringing my car. I have a VERY rare color Porsche 911 . its little bit old but gorgeous and runs GREAT! The idea f driving it in desertic area in Saudi is super exciting.
I have done some investigation as far as what are the rules and regulation but according to teh link below cars more than 7 years old are not allowed into Saudi Arabia:

Well, I am not planning to stay in Saudi more than a year but my car is 1993 so it is more than 7 years old so is there a expectation for expat who are there for bringing their car ? Shall I take the risk to have it shipped? I found prices like $1200 so not too expensive .
Has anyone shipped his car to Saudi before? Would you guys know any customs broker in Saudi who is fully aware of all teh rules and regulation.
