Are there community spaces around the camp for kids to use high speed remote control cars? Are they even allowed at the camp?

I've seen some fuel powered (some form of spirit, I'd guess from the smell) go round the bmx track. Dont know about the rules tho.

I've been trying to find out if there are any issues with rc planes on the compounds. I haven't gotten any official word yet. I'm planning on bringing a radio and tools, and if it's a go will order some kits to build.

Hi,
I wanted to refresh this topic as I'll be arriving in Dhahran in a few months. Has anyone found out if RC planes, boats or trucks can be driven or flown there?
Thanks

I don't know any issues for rc cars or boats, though boats would be a challenge to find a place to use them other than the gulf. With planes, I never got a good answer on that. I know for drones it is complex to import them and requires a license. I would assume the same would apply to planes. There are a few hobby shops but they just seem to carry rc cars

Highly doubt use of planes are permitted on-camp given proximity to the military air base, not entirely surprised you’ve not got a straight answer yet!
