o all,
I was interviewed for a role in upstream in March-19 and an offer was confirmed via phone in April-19. I am since been waiting for the written offer and further process to start. Is this normal? Is anyone else in the same position particularly from upstream?

Yes this if normal. Be patient and follow up with your recruiter. Sometimes they can tell you more off the record on the phone VS email.

Hi Darthvader. Yes, I have received the offer.
Which role did you apply for?
Just stay in regular contact with your HR contact if not already. In my case my HR contact was amazing and kept me posted on weekely basis. Ramadhan did delay things a bit but all good now.
I hope you hear the good news soon. Keep in mind that offer comes with alot of paperwork. So be ready with your pen.

Wow budyboy, two months is a long time. I submitted my documents and slips end June 2019 so it's been a month and the wait is so painful. Recruiter told me it would take about a month and I just crossed the one month mark.
Congrats that you got it!

Does chances of offer reduce after second interview. Thanks |

I don't have any stats on that I'm afraid. It may be that they have an alternative opening for you and they want to check you are right for it.
Just go with it and be open minded.
