Hi All,

My name is Amr. I received an offer from Aramco to be Engineer at Jazan Refinery. I am planning to move with my family from Egypt to Jazan.

My family consists of two kids ( 2 years and 6 months) and my wife. I am asking about the possibility of finding a compound where I can live with my family. My main concern is to find a compound where we can find a nursery and the basic services. So my wife can move safely in my absence. I hope if it possible to be at Baish because I am planning to go back daily to home.
I know the services are limited at Baish and Jazan. So I am wondering if I can find such place.

What about Aramco compound?

Your advises for me and family are more than welcome.

There is no Aramco facility with family accomadation near Jazan. The plan is for these facilities to be built, but I dont know what stage they are at.

I know people who weekly commute from the Eastern Province (not sure if family accomadation is currently being provided in Ras Tanura or Dhahran).
I also know a family in Jeddah, where weekends and one night a week are spent at home. I doubt this is sustainable on the new rental assistance scheme.

We have inside kidgarden and school it will be easy for your wife with two kids.

Hi, did you find a solution to go back home at the end. Maybe you need to think about moving to another city? I also have been living in Jazan for two years and I remember how hard it was to find suitable compound for my family. So, I was very happy when I found another job in London. Of course, I immediately agreed to move. Btw I was moving to London quickly and without any problem. That’s all thanks to company Removals London.
