Hi all,
Can you please provide me with the taxi fare from DHA to Dammam airport and vice versa? How long does this route takes?
Also do you have any idea of the fare per day to park our own car to Dammam airport parking?

If you request Samara or Majestic, I believe it's 114 SAR, or something similar.
If you book a one way taxi from the airport to main camp, again, I believe it's 100 SAR.
Honestly, if you can arrange for Uber/Careem to pick you up outside a gate from DHA, it's a lot cheaper.
Similarly, Uber/Careem are easily available from the airport.
Also, there are times where Uber and Careem will give you promo codes, with 15 SAR off or 50%, which ever is max.
As for parking at the airport, I've heard it's quite cheap, but never done it.
I have heard at times you can't find parking, hence, I haven't done it.
Personally, even for weekend trips to Dubai, I'd just take a return Uber trip.

We are in Khobar, so slightly further away. Its typically 120SAR for a taxi, and about 45 mins.
Parking starts at 2SAR an hour, and drops to 1 SAR an hour after a few days.
Spaces are at a premium, and taxis work out cheaper if you are away much more than a week.

I would like to recommend you Uber, but this company is just terrible. Recently, I don't particularly like the way Uber has been working. They overpriced their services and I often came across drivers who didn't even know the city. So I started using the Time Safe Travel services. When I need to get home from the airport, I book this taxi and when I leave the airport, a car is waiting for me at the entrance. This is very convenient, because you do not need to spend time searching for a taxi and waiting. Besides, I don't need to have a cash with me, because I can pay with any Bank or debit card. |
