I am retiring in a year from being a school teacher/principal in the USA I will be 60. I have also worked 8 years as a chemical plant operator. Is there an age limit on what Saudi Aramco will/can hire? And a side question is it easier to get a teaching job or an operators job? Thanks in advance.

Bill At 60, everyone retires, including Saudi nationals. Some exceptions can be made.

So, is it worth my time and effort to pursue a job at 60 with Aramco or should I go with plan B? Is it a long shot, 50/50, etc?

You are 60. Aramcons generally retire at 60, and if you were to come to KSA then it generally would need to be as a contractor (SMP).
Unless you have some pretty unique and outstanding skills that are useful to Aramco then I very much doubt that they would pursue it.
However, nothing ventured, nothing gained. There is no harm in making some tentative enquiries.

At 60, you will not be considered for a job with Aramco. Mandatory retirement is at 60 and there are few exceptions, but they are already here, not new hires.
