I received my confirmation letter that I have passed all contingencies and have a flight scheduled to Dhahran in late August. I am switching my status from Family to Bachelor in advance of my move to Dhahran, and my RA advised that in connection with the switch I will need to get my Master degree attested. This seems straightforward so I didn't have any problem going through this process, but in reviewing the materials they sent me for the attestation, one of questions asked is what portion of the degree was obtained online. Does it matter what portion was online study? My Master degree was from a traditional brick and mortar state university in New Jersey, but roughly about half of my classes were online. Does that matter and will that affect anything? Or are they simply asking for the sake of asking?

So to clarify, this wasn't an online degree. This is a traditional degree from a state university where I took classes at the physical campus itself, it is only that some of the classes did have an online option (and some were hybrid), and so a portion of the classes I took for the degree were online.

You need to discuss with your recruiter or RA for more info.

I'm going through that process now. The relo advisor mentioned it is usually a quick process and SACM turns it around fast after they get the official transcript and method of study form.

My university's registrar office just got the final documentation to my relocation advisor late last week. She submitted it to SACM, so I think it is moving along well and we are just waiting for their final sign-off.

Great news, the problem is the person who supposed to do the attestation for Non-Saudis is away until Aug 20.

I am on the same boat. I took 3 online courses and rest all physically on the campus face to face. I was told by my carrier that they return all the papers and said they unable to authenticate due to online classes. Not sure what to do now?
