I am currently under BI and will be taking medical next week. The thing is my current employer is laying off people in a few weeks and management is encouing people who have plan to leave to go talk to them. If I go tell my boss now that I have another plan then I may get a severance package (e.g. 7 months salary). I am not sure if I should take the risk as theoretically things can change (e.g. Aramco can withdraw the offer) before I get the final clearance. Any suggestions? Also I am not sure if this will affect my BI if I leave my current employer now as I was told my current employer will be contacted by ASC after all the contingencies are met.
