Just curious if anyone has a U.S. Number in The KSA? Is it Cell based? VoIP? Also what to do so US companies (banks, insurance, misc accounts) etc can contact you in the KSA if needed?

I have a phone with dual SIM capabality. So both my UK and Saudi numbers route and ring on one handset. Not sure is US SUM cards are switchable in the same way?

Having an extra phone is not the issue, it’s finding a provider that has decent rates. The carrier with the best rates unfortunately does not have roaming in the KSA (Verizon). T-Mobile’s (One) Plan is not meant for extended use, they’ll turn off the line. And At&t is outeously expensive.

I got a MagicJack number , and it's working fine [through the app as well as the physical phone].
I arrived here on Jan 1st 2018.
