Hi all,
I am new in this forum and would like to seek guidance prior to deciding whether to accept the offer.
I had a call with the RA and was advised ATC's offer (global payroll) comprised of
- Base Pay - Housing Allowance - Transport Allowance - Annual Supplement Benefit - Non-guaranteed yearly bonus - Medical - Airfare
My questions are:
1) Base pay - comparable to my current pay. RA shared that the costs of living in KSA lower as compared to Singapore. Is it truth?
2) Housing Allowance - may I know what is the avee monthly rental in Dhahran/Khobar for an 'ok' fully furnished 1/2 bedroom apartment in popular neighbourhoods?
3) Transport - apart from owning a car, any other modes of transport to commute around? What is the avee cost of a basic car (new/used) in KSA?
4) Annual Supplement Benefit - what is it for?
5) Non-guaranteed bonus - any idea what's the range?
6) 13th month bonus - it was not stated in the offer letter, will I enle to it even its not mentioned?
7) EOS benefit - it was not stated in the offer letter, will I enle to it even its not mentioned?
Am I missing out anything? Also I was told I can decide to join after I have cleared medical, BI and visa application. That is to say, even if I accept the offer now, I can still backup after visa application is approved?
Regards PH

Given Singapore is up at the top of many "living costs" surveys, that sounds right. You can Google costs of living, tho the oneni found had wine and beer prices, so do a sanity check.
Prices are very very variable. Living in a compound makes a massive price uplift. Again, Google is you friend.
Taxis are very common. Uber runs here too. Depending on where you are Aramco busses may assist.
No 13th month that I'm aware of.
EOS is Saudi Law.

13th month salary may be available in only Singapore around as it is a tax compensation.

Dear all,
Many thanks for your advices. I have counteroffered but was told by the RA that's final and non-nego.
Is it the process that we are liaise with the RA? Can I discuss with the hiring manager directly?
Additionally, anyone can help in off compound accommodation? What's the avee rental for furnished 1/2 bedrooms appartment?
Many thanks. PH

The avee rental <gs id="a3584d87-9f83-4bb8-9a82-efd21248aa29" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="40adcfce-3d2f-4c9f-b615-2f6d87e0c89d" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark">at</gs> a popular neighborhood in Khobar (Google areas like Doha, Olaya, Rakka) is around SAR 28-30K (2Bed room) and SAR 32-40K (3 bedroom) SAR/Year for a un-furnished apartments (but mostly have split AC's installed in all rooms or you can negotiate to have them). You can get around 5-10% discount if you pay yearly in advance. Monthly utility bills should be moderate.

There is an Aramco office in DHA that helps employees find local housing once you arrive.

Those flat prices are off compounds. Put a 1 in front if you will be wanting compound life (but they will likely include utilities and be furnished)

If you're on Global, based on what components you've listed, you've got a good deal going.
I have a fully furnished 1 bedroom apt, in Gulf Homes Compound, and I pay just 50,000/year.
That includes a parking spot, and I just pay 100/month for utilities and my internet.
