Really helpful site. Hoping to be joining Aramco soon (medical booked) and was hoping some people would be able to shed some light on Jizan.
1. I have been told I may be placed somewhere besides Jizan at first. My RA wont tell me where or even if it will happen. Anybody else know where I could be placed and for how long?
2. I am told I need to use RAA to get a place for myself wife ane child until new community in Jizan is built and fly back for weekends. The new RAA looks problematic, but I dont mind topping up a bit myself. Do Aramco run buses to non Aramco compounds? If I am only in say Ras Tanuara for 6 months, then on to Jazan for 5 days per week, I dont want to buy a car.
3. Any idea on when Aramco will have a family camp in Jizan?
Despite cut backs, Aramco still looks like a good oppotunity for me and I am excited but there are an awful lot of unknowns!
