I am curious to know if there is any difference in benefits from starting in December as compared to starting in January? For example, Bonus or others.
Thanks in advance.

If you start in December, then you will receive a repat vacation for 2018. If you start in January, you get your first paid repat vacation in 2019.

I guess the main benefit for getting out in December is in a years time you are going to get 2 lots of travel money very close together.

Dec 17 - Dec 18 = repat payment Dec 18 - Dec 19 = repat payment Jan 18 - Jan 19 = repat payment etc Compare start dates... Dec 31st 2017 - 1st repat Dec 31st 2018. Next repat Jan 1st 2019 (maybe some rule about having 90 days between vacations or something) Jan 1st 2018 - 1st repat Jan 1st 2019. Next repat Jan 1st 2020. 1 days difference in start dates... big difference on 2nd repat. Have not started yet so perhaps somebody else can confirm, but that was the info from my RA
