FYI: if you have been talking to ASC Houston re employment with Aramco.
Basement at ASC flooded, which houses the servers. Obviously, they will be shut down for at least a few days-minimum.
Patience will be needed again.

o smshah,
Yep they are working. Moved to an office in downtown Houston. I used email to get in touch with my recruiter. Looks like everything is pretty much on pause. I too am awaiting an "offer". It's been about two months for me. Hang in there. Maybe soon enough this situation might resolve itself.

Thanks for the update. One more question. If they ask for your pay slips and other certificates, does anybody know that the offer will be given for sure or still it's in dilemma?

From what my recruiter told me, treat the email / verbal offer as a maybe until you see some paperwork. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on it if I were you. From the people I have talked to, it took anywhere from a month to 3-4 months to receive the "real offer". All depends on what is going on in KSA at the time and how much (or little) urgency whoever the hiring manager feels to get it done.

Nope. No update. I'm ready to throw in the towel on this Aramco experiment and move on to other things. No need to keep beating my head up against the wall on this.

Just know, it can take up to and over a year to come to work for Aramco. Do continue to live your life as though you do not have an offer here. When it does come, you can decide then if you are interested.

Aramco places recruitments on hold for many different reasons. Many put on hold do eventually get active offers and are hired. The time frame depends on why the department has placed it on hold. So it can be weeks, months or years, no way to know.
So can you expect an offer? Probably, just do not know when. Should you see another job listing you qualify for and would like to do, then apply. It may be a different department and they may be hiring now, which could still take up to a year until you arrive here.

My guess is it likely relates to your specific contact there having retired or something along those lines. ASC still has their office in Houston, so no worries on that end. Perhaps try their main line and request they put you in touch with someone in the department you are trying to reach.
