This forum has been very helpful. I have got much information from here.
Finally, a tough decision for me to make, an offer comes but no company housing provided in the Dhahran main compound. I am on global pay roll.
Excited about the potential opportunities to do sth. different, meet different people in my life if I accept the offer. However, considering I have two young kids just starting school, driving two kids to school and then to the work seems a lot of work. The questions I would like to ask
1. Is there a possibility to negotiate for company housing in the compound in the job offer for people on GC? 2. How difficult to get admission to ISG schools (from its web seems almost no spaces available)? Is ISG good compared with Aramco school? 3. How easy to arrange the transportation for the kids going to school and back home, how much will it cost every month?
Thanks a lot for the answers.

This might come late, but:
1. You can't negotiate for company housing until you are qualified to go on the bidding list 2. If you apply during normal admission period you stand a chance, but outside the admission period depends on luck and availability of places 3. Most expatriate compounds offer a free bus ride to schools, to and fro, daily
