I interviewed in Houston May 2016 teleconference, then 2 weeks later in person with the Head of the department. He was in Houston. Went well. Was told they would like to have me on board. Was waiting for my citizenship as they wanted to make the right offer on a US payroll. Got everything completed in Dec. Supposedly offer letter is already on VP desk to be approved and signed. Still nothing. Is there any reasons for the delay for Aramco to release the offer letter? Could they have changed their mind or the department have changed their needs to hire. The HR in Houston still saying she's only waiting for the VP approval. Is this normal? Anyone has the same experience? Thanks in advance.

Following up to the note above.
Is the Unconventional department still looking to bring in resources in the Supply Chain team in particular or they have changed the requirements since a year ago? Anyone heard anything? Appreciate any responses. Thank you.

What's the Aramco recruiter in Houston telling you? Still waiting on VP approval?

From what I've heard, there have been layoffs at the unconventional unit. I work for a service comapny and visit them regularly as a consultant. I was supposed to be hired as an engineer, but they pulled the pug on the position due to the price of oil and upcoming IPO. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but maybe worth contacting your recruiting agent to get the details.

Cowboy, Yes. That's what she told me last and keep following up like every 2 weeks. Waiting for VP approval. The thing is it's been a year. I asked if there's a change of requirements but she said not that she knew off. Oh well. Thank you for your response.
Rosco10, Thank you for the info. That might be one of the factors. I'm just hoping they can at least say something and not let things hanging.

I have interview coming up for Well Services Foreman/Company Man with the Unconventional Resources Department, i will like to know if it is possible to request for 28/28 Days rotation instead of the 14/7 Rotation stated ion the job Board? And if anyone knows if they are flexible with the rotations so that i won't need to move my Family to Saudi?
