Question for those in the know: my understanding is that it is beneficial to arrive to work at SA within the same calendar year if possible in order to obtain your travel allowance if on a family status (ie. arriving December 31 vs January 1).
I am going to be travelling over on bachelor status initially and wondering if this will make any difference, or would arriving in 2016 have any additional benefit?
Look forward to some clarity.
