I received and accepted my offer recently, and I'm hoping to head out around the end of this year. I have a few questions that may have been answered in the past but I feel that updated information may be needed due to ongoing changes in the environment at Aramco.
Housing:
Where are new bachelor status employees likely to be housed? If I'm allowed to live on my own with a rental assistance, any recommendations for nice living areas? I'd consider Bahrain in the future, but not when I first arrive.
Activities
I'm sure there are martial arts groups, but I want to train Judo and Jujitsu specifically. Are there any schools or meeting groups for those activities? I really want to spend a lot of my free time working on my fitness. Are the gyms adequate? Free weights/squat racks etc?
Banking:
I have settled on NCB based on my research, but id like to hear any input on other options.
Internet/VPN:
I plan to bring a small desktop model cisco VPN router, 2 laptops, and a tablet. Will any of this cause me issues at customs?
