Hi

I had an interview early May 2016 in the UK for a role in HR then the recruiter from London office called me to let me know that I have been shortlisted for the role and can expect an offer soon. After few weeks, I was informed that the department decided to go with some other candidate and withdrew my offer. Is this normal at Aramco? Do I stand any chance if that other candidate doesn't accept the role? Any information is much appreciated. It is so frustrating to get rejected after initially told that I have been shortlisted :-(

If you were shortlisted and they went with another person, then yes that is normal. Could you be considered again, yes. There have been quite a few people who were not hired the first go around and were hired later. Aramco will keep your resume and if they have a position they think you can fill, they will contact you, even if you do not apply again. You are also able to apply for any position that comes up in the future. There is a limitation on the number of applications you can submit at a time for positions listed on their website.

Thanks for your reply vpainter.. the recruiter has said that they have not rolled out the offer to the other person too, probably they position might have gone on hold.. Hoping that I would be considered for any other position soon..

by the way, I didn't receive any email when you replied to my post.. should I logon to the forum to see if there are any replies to my post?? Thanks

Hoping that it will turn into a offer this time..
