I just arrived in Dharhan and would like to get in contact with fellow Swissies to make sure I do not lose my Swiss german. ...after having worked in the UK for the past 14 years.

Welcome to Aramco and Dhahran. There are better ways once here to reach people than the forum. Get involved in self directed groups, a list should have been in your house upon arrival. If not pick up a copy in Al Mujamma at the CIC Office to the left of the post office, if facing it.
If your wife is here (possibly from your username), then have her join the Women's Group - on the phone list in your home and ask a lady she meets to add her to the private ladies only Dhahran Ladies fb page. She has to live here to be added.
Also ask co-workers. You may have to speak German to those here from Germany.

thanks a lot for directing me to the groups. I got the list and will definitely get involved. I am also happy to speak German, if necessary.
At the moment, my family is still in the UK, but once they are here, the women's group is a great suggestion for her.
