There has been some discussion of various airlines changing policies concerning Unaccompanied Minor (UM) traveling by air. This has the potential to affect us here, as our children attending boarding schools out of Kingdom must frequently travel unaccompanied. Please note that most airlines require a special fee to be paid to use the UM service. Also, some airlines require a special form with emergency contact information to be filled out and provided well in advance of departure. You must check with your airline well in advance of travel to verify all applicable rules, fees and requirements for using the UM service.
