Looking for used Dish Barrel Boxes from US expats (these are availaible in US)
If you have a few (1 or 2 or 3...) boxes lying around, please let me know! I will buy them as I need to move some stuff back to US.

You can find new dish barrel boxes at the furniture warehouse.

Or call East West and have them deliver to your home when they are in camp. You would have to pay for them.

I found a number for East And West Express and called them but they don't have a clue what dish barrel boxes are. Not sure if this is the East West vpainter was talking about? The number I called is 013 834 7892. Please let me know if there is another source or number.
fsaeed81, what is the "furniture warehouse" you mentioned earlier? Is it an exclusive/special store for people living in Aramco camp? If so, can you help me buy a few boxes(I will pay)? I am willing to drive down from Jubail to pick them up.

Replying to my own post, with some info that might help others in similar situation. I couldn't find the dish barrel boxes I was looking for, no one replied or was willing to help, however, I was able to find similar boxes from East & West Express in Dammam. BUT they are single walled, NOT double walled like the dish barrel boxes. A friendly Pakistani gentleman at their warehouse, using his experience and skill, carefully slided one box over another making them double walled! Weight went up from 3 lbs to 6 lbs but not a big deal for the extra strength you get.
Size is 47 cm x 47 cm x 75 cm that converts to 18.5x18.5x29.5 inches approx, with a total of 66.5 in compared to 18x18x28 in, totaling to 64 in for dish barrels. I could cut them down to meet the 62 in limit set by airlines, but I rather not as I never had a problem with the 64 in dish barrels before.
Has anyone ever had a problem with boxes being measured at Dammam airport? Or has anyone taken the 66.5 in boxes without cutting them down? Please share your experiences, it will be helpful for everyone.
